The Legend of the Unicorn

Unicorn in Other Languages Picture
A very long time ago, when the world was very young, wild and wonderful creatures roamed free. The most beautiful of all was the Unicorn.

Constantly sought for the supposed magical powers of its horn, the Unicorn was not easily captured. Although it was kind and gentle of spirit, it was also extremely quick, graceful, and sure of foot. which frustrated even those most experienced in their capture.

But there was one sure way to capture a Unicorn. That was with the help of an innocent maiden, for the creature was attracted by purity and would, come trustingly forward to rest it's head in the maiden's lap.

It was in this way that the defenseless and unwary creature would be taken. Relaxed and off its feet ,it would be quietly surrounded and quickly netted, and soon there were no more.

Oh how the world now mourns the loss of this magical being. Now that it's too late we miss its beauty and magic that it brought to the world.

Welcome, to my Unicorn page. For me the beauty of the unicorn comes a life far different from our own-a world in which anything is possible-     where your hopes and wishes can come true.
